Heritage Conservation
This 14th century build had a doorway of a previous external wall with an influx of damp problems that we restored to excellent and safe standing.
With a mixture of salvageable original stone and suitably sourced replacement materials we created a breathable and traditionally skimmed render. We also re-beaded edges and levels.

Oak & Bath stone extension
This extension needed correct insulation boarding both on walls and the ceiling. Specialist build work was completed using new and original parts of the property materials including oak and stone.

Hearth and wall repair
For this room the Damp Bulldog team carried out stone repairs of the internal chimney stack as well as the floorboards. We installed architrave skirting boards, shelving and the fireplace hearth as well as electrical sockets.
The main plastering and painting of this job were completed on each wall.

External and Internal protection
This bedroom wall had a terrible damp issue caused by windows leaking. During this renovation we used our standard render system.
We also offered the client thermoboarding as insulation to meet the government's targets for heat reservation. You can find more information about these standards on the GOV UK website.

Electrical Repair in kitchen
In the kitchen there was a high risk of electrical faults due to the water content. Our team replaced the dangerous wiring and eradicated the water leak, replacing with matching rendering to blend the rest of the room's walls as a whole.

External Rendering
Client required treatment of external walls of their home. Damp Bulldog appropriately used masonry skills to remove and repair the brick and block work.
We completed the work amidst poor weather, working correctly with traditional materials and systems that were suitable.
Small Bedroom Condensation Recovery
During this small bedroom condensation recovery the family we're unable to relocate, to ensure that they weren't required to change their schedule or relocate, we changed out. Work was carried out in two stages to ensure family life was not disturbed, and works were completed to a high quality.
